Mr. Parsley has consistently reached out to diverse communities to promote justice.
Mr. Parsley dedicated his early career to build positive bridges between the Americas. He worked or studied in Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Chile. He earned a B.A. in International Studies and Latin American Studies at the University of Washington. He speaks fluent Spanish.
In San Diego, California, Mr. Parsley earned a J.D. at California Western School of Law, with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law. He was a law clerk at the Employee Rights Center, then was a legal intern at the City Attorney's Office in Chula Vista. Mr. Parsley received recognition for Pro Bono work and trial advocacy.
After he passed the Washington State Bar, Mr. Parsley earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certificate to supplement his knowledge of employment-related issues.
